Olga Kutsenko studied humanity and social sciences (philosophy, political economy and sociology) in Kharkiv. She is Full Professor at the Department of Social Structures and Social Relations, T.Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (TSNUK). She was a Head of Specialized Council for defense of PhD and Doctor of Sciences dissertations on Sociology (2009-2021). Olga held the chair of Social Structures and Social Relations, TSNUK (2007-2020), and the chair of Political Sociology, V.Karazin National University of Kharkiv (2005-2007).  She has served as Vice-President of Sociological Association of Ukraine. Currently she is an Einstein Research Fellow at the Department of Work, Technology and Participation, Technical University Berlin. Her long-term research focuses on societal transformations, social structure changes, civic activism, political behavior and culture.
